Healing Back Pain
Dear Readers;
Most of us have experienced back pain at one time or another.
For some time now I have been preoccupied by the many different kinds and causes of backaches. Often they are result of an earlier injury, which through the years can raise it's ugly head once more as an excruciating pain that refuses to go away - at least without some form of therapy. Backache can be very sneaky and develop into a chronic condition if not addressed early enough.
The ideal would be to prevent pain by not abusing the body with bad posture when sitting, standing, walking, or sleeping on a too soft mattress. Also, many people don't pay attention whether their shoes are giving arch support if needed, and, instead of bending knees when lifting something they bend the lower back, which is meant to be kept straight.
We all know how important exercise is for overall health. I practice walking or swimming and Chi Kung every day, fifteen minutes of each seems to be enough. But if I miss even a day I feel stiffness accompanied with
tiredness even laziness.
